Iran: Council lists four more individuals and six entities over serious human rights violations.
The EU Council imposed a tenth package of restrictive measures on four individuals and six entities responsible for serious human rights violations in Iran.
Restrictive measures now apply to a total of 227 individuals and 43 entities. They consist of an asset freeze, a travel ban to the European Union and a prohibition to make funds or economic resources available to those listed. A ban on exports to Iran of equipment which might be used for internal repression and of equipment for monitoring telecommunications is also in place.
The following persons and entities are added to the list of natural and legal persons, entities and bodies set out in Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 359/2011:
