Kyriakos’ professional career began in January 1995 from the banking sector, and spanned as financial controller in public and private companies since 1999, as well as financial and business advisor to firms in Cyprus and abroad until 2004. He then worked for the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus initially as the chief accountant and subsequently as the internal auditor, from 2004 until the end of 2011.
Kyriakos qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1997 and is now a Fellow of ACCA. He is also a members of ICPAC and of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) of UK. In addition he is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (FCIS), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a member of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and a holder of an MBA degree from MSM. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. He also served as a council member of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors (2006-2011).
Eleni worked at Ernst & Young in Nicosia between 2010 and 2014 where she has gained experience in the audit of international and local private and public companies. For the period between 2014 to 2015 she worked as an auditor at WTS Cyprus Ltd. From 2015 till July 2018 she worked at the European Federation of Accountants “Accountancy Europe” in Brussels, handling matters relevant to corporate reporting as well as accounting and auditing standards.
She holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Business Management from the University of Surrey, UK and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
