Code of Public Governance

Using the Code 

Good governance leads to good management, performance and administration of public funds and, through improved transparency, confidence. It encourages public participation and enables organizations to improve their services offered to the public and the citizens.

Purpose

The Public Governance Code (the "Code") is intended to be used as a guide by the organizations providing public services and / or use public money (the "Agency") to assist in the understanding and application of common principles of good governance. It is an attempt to improve the practice of governance in public organizations. 

The aim of the Code is to be used by: (1) those who are entrusted with the management of an organization to make their work better, and (2) individuals and groups interested in exploring the efficiency and the quality of governance of an organization.
