Purpose:

The purpose of the webinar is to increase awareness on the risks emanating from sanctions for professional accountants, auditors and administrative service providers and provide guidance on open sources that can be utilised for accessing information, including practical demonstrations. The seminar will also focus on the European Union's restrictive measures in view of Russia's actions destabilising the situation in Ukraine, being the most complex sanctions framework released to date. The objective is to summarise the provisions of the EU sanctions, give to participants the main shapes the risks may take and recommend mechanisms and practical solutions for mitigation of these risks. The webinar will also emphasise high risk areas and real life case studies.
