Purpose:
This very interesting event intends to provide an outline the UK approach to combatting the illicit finance,
as well as the measures taken to enhance the framework of against money laundering and illicit financing.
The visit of John Glen MP (Economic Secretary to the Treasury) and Simon York (Director, HM Revenue & Customs)
denotes the inauguration of a series of events held in collaboration with the British High Commission to promote closer
cooperation between the UK and Cyprus in combatting money laundering and illicit finance.
