The EU has removed 3 people from its Burundi sanctions list: Chief Police Commissioner Godefroid Bizimana; Prime Minister Gervais Ndirakobuca (alias Ndakugarika); and former army general Léonard Ngendakumana. This leaves only Joseph Niyonzima (alias Kazungu), an officer of the National Intelligence Service, on the list.
